Relevé  is a ballet term that mean to rise to the toes from the flat foot.  I’ve always loved to dance even when I was a little girl, I was always twirling and shaking my hips.  I loved music.  It wasn’t until I was in my 30’s that I took my first ballet class.  It was so difficult and of course much too late to start dancing.  I did love it though!  Dance was an important part of my life for a short time.  Now, I appreciate dance from the audience point of view.  It will always hold a special place in my heart.  If I had it to do all over again, I would still be painting dancers rather dancing…maybe.
