There’s something about this painting that makes me think of the beauty of a simple life, an uncomplicated relationship, a day without stress, a day without technology.  I’m looking for ways to simplify my own life, remove stress, detox, and make things uncomplicated. The less complicated my life is, the more I’m free to create.

I’ve hired my son to help me in the studio.  Yesterday, he gessoed 4 large canvases, which would have takes hours of my time.  While he worked, I was able to complete a painting.  I could get use to this!

I’m going to look for more ways to uncomplicate my life and as I do, I let you know how it’s working for me.
