Never Alone

abstract figurative, group, contemporary

This abstract figurative painting is my own personal favorite.  I love the figures and the colors and I’m just so pleased with how it turned out.  Which is good because I can’t say that about every painting I’ve done this week or last!

I called this painting, “Never Alone”.  As I was painting it, I thought about all those times in our lives when we’re hurting, afraid, lonely, or feeling lost or crazy, or whatever…and I realized that whenever we feel those emotions we think we’re the only ones in the world that feel that way.  We end up feeling isolated , when in reality we’re not alone.  There’s a lot of people out there feeling exactly the same as we do at exactly the same time.  All those emotions are just part of being human and everyone experiences them.  This is for all those people feeling like they are the only ones.
