One painting just keeps leading to another and I find myself back in time in a land far away.
I’ve really enjoyed painting lately and I think it’s because I feel like I’m finding my own voice as an artist. My artist friends tell me it just takes times to find your way and that’s true–you can’t rush it.
Part of the process takes stepping away and spending time alone in the studio. I think I relate to this young shepherd as he works alone in the fields. I can hear the sound of the sheep and feel the warm breeze on my face. It’s a peaceful place. I can hear my own thoughts, I can dream and I can create.
