I love dance!   Every week I’m faithfully tuned in to “So You Think You Can Dance“. I’ve seen every episode since the beginning.  I love movement and music and story telling.   I love that dance can move the soul and touch you without any words spoken.  I love the way it inspires me in a million different ways. So, it’s no wonder I keep returning to one of my favorite subjects over and over again.

I danced for a time during my late 20’s and early 30’s.  It was the first time I really saw myself as a visual artist.  I had the opportunity to choreography (my first love) and do some exciting things.  To me, choreography was like painting on a huge canvas, so much fun!

Speaking of choreography, our creative little family reads together in the evening and we’re currently working on a book by a famous choreographer, Twyla Tharp, called “Creative Habit“.  If you are a “creative” and you haven’t read this book–buy it!  It’s filled with wisdom from an amazing and talented woman.
