The “Waiting Game”

I painted this painting for our new apartment in New York City.  However, it looks like we’re going to have to put our plans on hold for a bit.

The deal on our house fell through which means we’re back to keeping the house perfect, leaving for showings, and waiting.

Waiting… it’s difficult.  Not moving forward, not starting that big project, not making any definite plans.  Not painting because I don’t want to mess the house up or they’re showing the house during the day and I have to keep leaving. Every thing is on hold.

We can’t get in hurry, we have to be patient.  We really need our asking price in order to move to NYC.  So we just have to hang in there until we get what we need.

In the mean time, we’re trying to keep our spirits up and keep dreaming about our new lives in the big city.  I believe we will get a legitimate buyer soon.  The housing market in Denver is on fire!  Hopefully we’ll have another contract by the end of the year.

I’m very much looking forward to the day I can hang this painting in our awesome little apartment and post a picture on my blog.
