This figurative painting started out as a failed work and turned into one of my favorites. I scraped the old painting and began drawing the three large figures. The small figure was still visible from the old painting and the new image of the 4 figures spoke to me immediately. So, I recovered the small figure and continued painting.
I also discovered something new. During the process I went to the art store and bought some oil sticks. They’re oil paint in stick form and they come in lots of amazing colors! I LOVE THEM!! I had so much fun and I can’t wait to use them again.
